Dr. Snowberger and Dr. Garcia, the optometrists at Texas State Optical, make it a policy to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques to make your visit as comfortable and effective as possible. As optometric technology changes, it is even more important to select an eye doctor who has all the right optometry qualifications and follows the latest developments in eye care.

Dr. Nathan R. Garcia, Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Garcia has been practicing Optometry in central Texas since 2003. He is a South Texas native who attended Texas A&M University in College Station to receive a Bachelor of Science and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee for his Doctor of Optometry degree. Shortly after receiving his doctorate, Dr. Garcia attended training at the University of Houston to become an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist in the state of Texas. Dr. Garcia is licensed to the fullest extent available to an Optometrist in Texas with his certification to therapeutically diagnose and treat eye diseases. He internshiped at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station where he was awarded by the hospital commander for being on a pre-deployment medical team for troops going to Iraq. He also trained in a private ophthalmology clinic in Richardson, Texas assisting in LASIK procedures.
Dr. Garcia opened Complete Vision with Dr. Snowberger in the summer of 2004 to serve Round Rock and surrounding communities. He maintains membership in the Texas Optometry Association, the Central Texas Optometric Society, and the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce. In his free time he enjoys recreational sports and traveling with his wife Andrea.
Dr. Scott Snowberger, Doctor of Optometry
A native Texan, Dr. Scott Snowberger grew up in San Antonio. He attended Southwest Texas State in San Marcos where he graduated with Bachelors of Science in Biology. From there he attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee where he received his Doctorate in Optometry.
Dr. Snowberger is a member of the American Optometric Society, Central Texas Optometric Association, the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, and an honorary member of the Lions Club. He enjoys spending time with his four year old son, learning the guitar, and playing golf.
